Get Help

If you are homeless, or are trying to help someone, here are some resources you may find helpful. Please remember that getting into emergency shelter can be very difficult.

Other shelter, housing, food, and medical resources

Crisis Clinic

The Crisis Clinic operates a crisis phone line. It is often overwhelmed with requests for help. You may have to wait on hold to get the information you need.

They have up-to-date listings of emergency shelters, housing and food resources, and other information.

Tent Cities

There are currently eleven tent cities in Seattle/King County. These tent cities provide a safe environment for residents. They all require participation in helping to run the camp. Most camps require ID and screen for sex offender status. Be sure to call a camp to find out if they have space available.

For a current list of camps, locations and contact information, go to the Greater Seattle Cares website here:

 Mobile Medical Care

This program provides walk-in care for people who are living homeless (or were recently homeless) only.
