The discernment window has closed on this option for now, and no changes are foreseeable in the near term. However, we remain open to future growth that will help us serve our clients. Thank you, as always, for your support and prayers!

Neighboring landowners have approached Operation Nightwatch to gauge our desire in acquiring their property, which, combined with our existing facilities, would give us ownership of 5 adjoining parcels of land. This is a rarity in Seattle: A contiguous block of such size could be a great benefit to future development in service to low-income city residents.
We have expressed interest in their offer and have begun the process of exploring potential expansion of our facilities. We are also beginning to reach out to potential development partners and service agencies. We strongly believe that any expansion of Operation Nightwatch needs to be in the best interest of our clients.
In a typical year (outside of COVID), our Street Ministers meet thousands of marginalized Seattleites. In addition, we feed and shelter over 3,500 unduplicated people, providing a total of more than 40,000 meals and/or shelter nights. We do this with the help of thousands of generous donors, and over seven hundred volunteers.
The mission of Operation Nightwatch is to reduce the impact of homelessness in keeping with Jesus’ teaching to love our neighbors. We do this by offering food, shelter, housing and hope, 365 days a year. We invite you to imagine with us what an expansion of our services might look like.
